Liberty Village City Council Approves Community Services Funding Measure, Expanding Local Aid Programs

The legislation states that the city will allocate $450,000 of the new total specifically to partner organizations that deliver in-home support for seniors and people with disabilities living within the Liberty Village boundaries. Next Steps for Implementation
City officials will open the next round of grant applications for community organizations on August 1, with awards expected to be announced by September 15. The council directed staff to submit a progress report on service utilization at its October 6 meeting.
